Something about fluffy vests and button-ups make me feel much classier than I actually am. And don’t even get me started on the snakeskin flats.
This vest has been in the back of my closet for a while now. I’ve worn it before, but it is definitely out of my comfort zone. But I’ve realized that comfort zones are overrated, especially when it comes to personal style. So I went for it.
I have a few fashion role models that I look up to, who never seem too afraid to try something new or wear something a little out of the ordinary.
I used to think that there was a set formula to being “fashionable” and I had to fit this mold. Fortunately, I was wrong.
Personal style is different from fashion. Personal style is a way to express yourself as you interpret trends and fads and use pieces in your wardrobe to create something new! Fashion is something that the designers create and the stores sell, however, you can buy as many “fashionable” pieces as you want and still lack personal style. More on this later, but I just thought I would share some of my thoughts.
Have a great Sunday 🙂
